I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:6-7

The Lord revealed to me that this year is the Year of Divine Opportunities. God will promote His people by giving them great opportunities. But it is very important for you to know how to respond to these God given opportunities. There is one thing that God has given to you that is very powerful, that is your gift. Your gift is very important in the School of Progress.  Everyone who succeeded in life learned how maximise their gifts.

In the Bible we are given the account of a young man who became very successful. His name is Joseph. Joseph had the gift of interpreting dreams. Until Joseph began to operate in his area of gifting he continued to languish in prison. Joseph interpreted dreams for three people namely the butler, the baker and Pharaoh.

Knowing your gift and then functioning in that gift is the doorway to the world of exploits. Every person is specially created by God to fulfil that purpose which only that person can. The potential in you cannot be possessed by some one else to the degree that you have. If the talent or gift or potential in you can be totally or successfully put to good use, you will achieve breakthroughs which will make you a great success. Take a close look at your self, at your gifts and your abilities. Ask yourself what I am good at and what do I like doing? Sometimes it may not even be the course you are studying at the university or college that will lead you to the top even though you may be getting good grades. Some times it may not be the job you are doing now. Did you know that life is like the earth with huge deposits of precious minerals? Those minerals remain idle until they are discovered and unearthed. It is very important for you discover the divine deposits in you. The divine deposits in you are gifts and talents. The gift of God is stirred by continually listening to the word of faith. Let your gift be stirred all the time.

Prayer: Close your eyes and pray this strong prayer

The gift of God that is in me that will take me to the top let it manifest now. Lord let the hidden potential in me that will make me stand out be released now in Jesus name. The deposit of God in me that will make come out of this prison be revealed now in Jesus name.
