It came to pass after these things that the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their lord, the king of Egypt.  And Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief butler and the chief baker.  So he put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Joseph was confined.  And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them; so they were in custody for a while. Genesis 40:1-4 (NKJV)
Every God given breakthrough in life will start with opportunity. Divine destinies will always lead to divine opportunities. Breakthroughs in life come out of opportunities spotted and well utilised. Greatness in life is a result of correct response to opportunity. Clear understanding of your purpose will make you alert to opportunities.  How you handle the moments will determine your measure of success. While in prison Joseph had the opportunity to interpret dreams. He met three people who forever changed the history of his life. These were the baker, the butler and Pharaoh. They had their dreams interpreted. It was the butler who spoke well of Joseph to Pharaoh, God is sending someone in your life who will give a good report about you. The baker was there just to confirm that what Joseph was saying was true. Some will be sent in your life just to affirm you. Pharaoh was the one who promoted Joseph. God is sending into your life men and women who will bless you.  In life there are many opportunities, here are some of them.

*opportunity to have good parents

*opportunity to meet people(some of the people may not look like you or speak like you but it doesn't matter)

*opportunity for good education

*opportunity to be in a good country

*opportunity to be in a bad country

*opportunity to get married

*opportunity to be single

*opportunity to be young

*opportunity to have good family

*opportunity to be in a good Church and have a good pastor

*opportunity to give

*opportunity to serve

... the list is endless!

Some opportunities are dressed in dirty overall. Some are packaged in boxes clearly marked 'Challenges'. But don't run away from them. Grab them and see what will happen to you. Every change in life is a result of a response to an opportunity!
What does the Bible say?
Eph 5:15-17: Be very careful, then, how you live-- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. NIV  
Eccl 9:11: I returned and saw under the sun that :
The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favour to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all. NKJV
