Luke 2:13-14

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:  "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"  (NKJV)
Christmas is a season of the suddenly! My dictionary defines the word suddenly as 'happening or done quickly and unexpectedly'. This Christmas expect God to do something quickly and unexpectedly for you.
On the first Christmas we are told that the shepherds were in the field keeping watch over their flock in the night. Without any doubt these men were worshippers of God. These men knew the promises of God. These men were watching and waiting as a result God decided to visit them with the Operation Suddenly! Another time is when the disciples were in the Upper Room. The Bible says in Acts 2:2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind…
There disciples had been praying and waiting. What kept them waiting and praying were the words of their Master Jesus. As a result God decided to visit them with Operation Suddenly! Another time is when Paul and Silas were in prison. The Bible says Acts 16:25-26
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed…
Instead of complaining and crying Paul and Silas praying and singing hymns! Paul and Silas were not expecting to die. No Paul and Silas were expecting divine intervention. As a result God decided to visit them with Operation Suddenly. Expectation from God is the breeding ground for miracles.
I don't know what challenges may be facing you at this point in time. Expect God to visit you. I don't know how long you have waited for your miracle. Expect God to do it now!
Let the God of suddenly visit you this Christmas and meet you at the very point of need.
