Gen 17:4-7

As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you

You see from the above verses God wanted to demonstrate His commitment to the Words that He spoke before. He changed his name so that each time his name is mentioned it would remind him of the promises of God. God established a permanent covenant with Abraham to remind Him of the unchanging promises of God. If you are born again these promises are yours in Jesus Name.

The blessing of Abraham is yours in Jesus name! We can see from above that greatness is part of the covenant. There is no reason for you to settle for mediocrity in your career, in your business, in your education. In order for you to make meaningful contribution to the affairs of your country you need to invest a lot in upgrading your life.

I remember before in my life I was poor, unknown and without money. But one day I had the opportunity to give a message before the offering was taken in Church on Sunday in Blantyre. I declared that I will be one of the top millionaires in this Church not long from now. Many people just took it to be one of those statements without any significance. But I continued to speak. I gave my tithe and offerings joyfully. I planted in various ministries of the Church: building project, missions, conferences, TV programme and many more. I was faithful in every assignment that was given to me. I went to the Church every day at 4.00 am and prayed before God. God heard my prayer; He honoured my commitment and made very prosperous to the amazement of those who said I will never prosper.  I want you to know there is a covenant upon you and me to prosper us against all odds.

You will prosper in Jesus Name!
