Manchester City Chapel had the first meeting on 17th December, 2005 at 30 Whittle Grove, Bolton. The first Sunday service was held on 25th December, 2005, in Newton Heath Manchester.
The mandate of Manchester City Chapel is to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as given in Matt 28:19-20 that is to make disciples of all nations, equipping and releasing them so that they can in turn serve God inline with their calling and gifting.
The Church has a strong prophetic vision to equip and release men and women who are going to be of great influence in the society.
It is a Church where the Word of God is preached without compromise, lives are transformed, families are built up, vision is defined and leaders are made.
It is a Church where strong prayers are offered, the presence of God is found, miracles are a reality and ministries are born
It is a Church where professional and business people find new meaning and a strive for excellence in their careers and businesses
It is a Church where hope is restored to the hopeless comfort is given to the hurting, and strength is imparted to the weary.
It is a loving and caring Church where, Jesus Christ is Lord and you are welcome as you are to serve and be served
